Clockwise: Detective Ross, Detective Dohoney, Producer John Dehn and Director Susan Marks.
There is much to tell about our whirlwind trip to Baltimore, but for now, here's photo from a first night. Normally, one doesn't breeze into town, call up homicide detectives and invite them out for dinner. But then again, most people don't make films about dead doll, forensic justice and death. Our favorite detectives (also featured in our film) couldn't dine with us, but they did make a special effort to join us for dinks at Ale Mary's on Fleet Street in the Fell's Point area.
It was heavenly. We enjoyed the company, drinks, the bartender, Mike, and their famous Krispy Cream Bread Pudding (Voted Baltimore's Best by Baltimore Magazine and it made another list of things you must try before you die. And you should.)
We didn't want the evening to end, but we needed to get our sleep for the big day - recording with John Waters.
Check back for more about our big day in Baltimore.
