Do "exclusive" and "behind the scenes" make these photos more exciting? Is it better storytelling or just hype? In the biz, we call them productions stills. However, these production stills were tougher to manage than usual because I left some camera equipment at home and was forced to use disposable cameras that I bought at a grocery store.
As some of you know, many of the photos didn't turn out. There's a lot of spooky speculation to why that is. But the important thing is that the video camera and microphones worked just fine. (Well, not the video camera batteries - but that's another story.)
We couldn't have ask for a better on-camera expert than Dr. Ramsland. Her interview will be a huge asset to the film and her students were amazing too. We truly feel lucky to have had this opportunity to film Dr. Ramsland and the students at DeSales. Everything came together so beautifully and that's saying a lot considering there were so many moving parts.
For some reason, production on this film has been smother and more exciting than any other project I've ever worked on. I have this feeling that this story really wants to be told and it has chosen us to tell it.

Our lovely grip, Kiera took this photos.
By the way, did you know Katherine has a new book? I can't wait to read it!
