- I write books and screenplays, make documentary films and take a lot of photos. My filmmaking partner, John Kurtis Dehn, and I made the documentary film, OF DOLLS & MURDER, an intimate look at dollhouse crime scenes. This film also explores our nationwide fascination with forensics justice television, and ultimately the stories we like to tell ourselves about death. The narrator is none other than John Waters! I wrote the book, FINDING BETTY CROCKER and made the indie documentary film, THE BETTY MYSTIQUE. I also wrote, HISTORIC PHOTOS OF MINNESOTA. And in April of 2011, I published a new book, IN THE MOOD FOR MUNSINGWEAR: MINNESOTA'S CLAIM TO UNDERWEAR FAME.
